What heat press do you recommend?
Siser® recommends the Mighty Press® and Phoenix Phire® line of heat presses.

What color profiles should I use when printing on your ColorPrint printable materials?

What accessories are needed?
We recommend using the ColorPrint™ Mask to transfer the image, Siser® Weeder to weed away excess
material, Siser® Squeegee to remove trapped air and create a bond between the mask, and Kraft paper to
create a finish and protect your garment and upper platen, or a Teflon® sheet to create a semi-gloss finish
and also protect your garment and upper platen.

What blades do you recommend?
A 45 degree blade works for most materials. A 60 degree blade can be used for flock and thicker media.

Is it necessary to use ColorPrint™ Mask with your ColorPrint™ line?
We strongly recommend using our mask; it is formulated to use with all of our medias.

What is your top selling ColorPrint™ media, and why?
ColorPrint™ II is our top selling digital media, it's the most economical choice and the easiest to work with.

Why is a cover sheet necessary?
Depending upon your cover sheet choice, you will get either a matte (Kraft paper) or semi-gloss finish (Teflon™) on your logo. A cover sheet is also recommended because it protects your upper platen.

Why is it necessary to Pre-heat a garment before heat applying?
Siser® recommends preheating garments before you heat apply to draw out any moisture in the fabric and it
also gets out any wrinkles.

What is the EasyWeed™ Advantage?
The EasyWeed™ Advantage is the reason that this is the #1 selling heat transfer material. It can be applied at a lower temperature, peels hot or cold, there’s no lifting, durable wash after wash, available in 36 colors, and applies at a lower pressure than any other heat transfer material. EasyWeed™ is also in a league of its own because of its pressure sensitive carrier which allows small letters and fine detail.
