DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Click here for the “Mom’s Heart Tote” design, then upload into Leonardo™ Design Studio. Resize to fit tote if needed.

Step 2: Load Easy Puff white into the Juliet cutter with the carrier side facing down, then adjust the cut settings from the cutter touch screen. Perform test cuts on the edge of the material and continue adjusting the settings as needed until you dial in the proper cut settings. In Leonardo Design Studio, mirror the design and cut. Remove vinyl from the cutter when finished.

Step 3: Load EasyWeed light pink into the Juliet cutter, then select the pre-set cut settings for EasyWeed from the cutter touch screen. In Leonardo Design Studio, mirror the design and cut. Remove vinyl from the cutter when finished.

Step 4: Use scissors to cut the designs from each material to save any unused vinyl. Use the EasyWeeder to remove excess material from your designs. Don’t forget the cavities!

Step 5: Set the temperature on the Siser Heat Press to 305°F / 150°C. Arrange the tote onto the heat press platen. Pre-press the tote for a few seconds to remove any wrinkles or moisture.

Step 6: Arrange the EasyWeed light pink on the tote. Cover with parchment paper and press for 10 seconds, then peel the carrier hot.

Step 7: Keep the tote on the platen and set the temperature on the Siser Heat Press to 280°F / 140°C.

Step 8: Arrange the Easy Puff white on the tote. Cover with parchment paper and press for 10 seconds with firm pressure, then peel the carrier hot. The design will have puffed up and your tote is now complete!

Tips for Easy Puff:

Easy Puff is designed to withstand only one heat application. Repeated applications will “flatten” the puff effect permanently.
It is not recommended to use a home iron when applying Easy Puff as proper pressure is crucial for application.
The texture of applied Easy Puff can vary from lightly textured to heavily textured.
