Siser® is officially entering the world of DTF (Direct-to-Film) with Easy® Transfers! This new product combines the benefits of DTF with the quality and care you’ve come to expect from Siser.
But Easy Transfers are more than just a new product— it’s an entirely new service that allows us to print your designs and ship them directly to you!
You probably have questions about this exciting new venture from Siser, so read on for the official Easy Transfers FAQ!

Q: What are Siser Easy Transfers?
A: Siser Easy Transfers are a new product and service that allows creators to have their designs printed onto DTF carrier film and shipped directly to them. Simply upload your image(s) to the Easy Transfers widget, use the built-in tools to modify your design if needed, and enter your payment details. Siser will receive your design(s), print them out, then ship them off!
Q: What is DTF?
A: Okay, get your giggles out now! Like mentioned above, DTF actually stands for “direct to film” and is another method for printing full-color designs onto a heat transfer medium. These transfers can be applied to garments and fabrics just like HTV using a heat press or home iron. DTF transfers are typically printed onto a roll of film using special large format printers and a “powder” adhesive. Unlike HTV, DTF is not easily done at home and designs typically need to be sent to a facility to be printed, then shipped back to the creator.
Q: What are the benefits of DTF?
We believe all decoration mediums have their place in the industry! DTF transfers allow creators to achieve full-color designs (like Siser Digital Media), including gradients, without having to cut or weed away white borders or outlines. DTF transfers are also applied at a lower temperature than most HTVs, allowing creators to decorate heat-sensitive apparel without scorching. DTF transfers are also extremely thin and soft to the touch, adding virtually no extra weight to garments… just like EasyColor™ DTV®!
Q: What are the benefits of Easy Transfers vs other DTF products?
Not all DTF transfers are created equal! Siser Easy Transfers use high-quality inks that can achieve over 20% more color range than the average DTF transfer and offer much more consistent results between prints. Like all of our HTV materials, we’ve also designed our Transfers to be free from harmful chemicals such as ethylene glycol and formaldehyde. We are proud to state that Easy Transfers are OEKO-TEX certified, Prop 65 compliant, and of course, CPSIA certified!
Q: How do I order Easy Transfers?
A: Easy Transfers can be ordered using our nifty widget. This widget can be accessed via an affiliate link or on select partners’ websites. Please note that you cannot place an order for Easy Transfers directly with Siser— you must purchase through an Authorized Distributor, Authorized Reseller, or trusted Siser affiliate.

Q: What type of designs can I upload to the Easy Transfers widget?
A: Both vector and raster file formats can be uploaded to the widget. The accepted file types are:
Vector
- .SVG
* Note that vector artwork must have text and strokes converted to outlines. Line thickness should not be smaller than .018″.
Raster
- .PNG
- .JPG
- .TIFF
All artwork should be saved to scale with a resolution of at least 300 DPI prior to uploading. This is to help ensure optimal print quality.
Q: How many designs can I upload?
A: You can upload up to 20 unique designs in a single order. You’ll also be able to select whatever quantity you wish for each design you would like to order.
For example, you could upload 20 designs and order 10 copies of each for a total of 200 transfers.
Q: How small or large can my uploaded designs be?
A: Raster designs uploaded using the Easy Transfers widget must be a minimum of 2″ x 2″ and no larger than 22″ x 22″. Lines and strokes should be no smaller than 0.018″ thick.
Once uploaded, designs can then be scaled down as small as 1” x 1”.
Vector designs can be uploaded at any size as they are infinitely scalable without affecting quality.

Q: Where are Easy Transfers available?
A: These Transfers are currently handled exclusively by Siser North America and are only available in the US. However, we are actively working with our international teams to evaluate its viability in additional regions and will share more details in the future.
Q: How much do Easy Transfers cost?
A: Transfers start at 6¢ per square inch, so final pricing will be determined by the size and quantity of your design(s).
Shipping costs will depend on your location within the US. Free shipping is offered for any orders of $75 or more.
Q: Are transfers shipped by the sheet or roll?
A: Most Transfer orders are printed on sheets and rolled into protective cores. Sheets may be up to 22″ x 22″ large, depending on the size of your design(s).
Q: How should I store unapplied Easy Transfers and how long will they last?
A: Unapplied transfers should be stored flat in a cool, dark, and dry location, ideally in a sealed bag. When stored properly, Easy Transfers should last up to one year without degradation. If proper storage conditions are not able to be maintained, transfers should be applied within 30 days of receiving them.
Q: Why are my unapplied transfers yellowing?
A: The adhesive on Easy Transfers may start to yellow when left unapplied for an extended period of time. This is normal and does not affect the application or durability of the transfer.
Q: What are the application settings for Easy Transfers?
A: Recommended application settings are below:
- Temperature: 280°F – 290°F / 137°C – 143°C
- Time: 15 seconds
- Pressure: Medium
- Peel: Hot
- Fabrics: Cotton, Polyester, Cotton/poly blends, tri-blends
Q: How long will Easy Transfers last when applied?
A: Testing shoes the transfers to last for at least 50 washes when properly laundered. Wash with cold water and tumble dry on low.
